Course Participation:
“Analysis and Integration of Transcriptome and Proteome Data” at EMBL
Rakovoliou Elena, PhD candidate in our Vascular Biology Lab (Fotsis–Murphy group), recently attended the EMBL course “Analysis and Integration of Transcriptome and Proteome Data” (May 4–10, 2025) at the EMBL Campus in Heidelberg.
The course combined lectures and hands-on sessions on transcriptomics, proteomics, and omics data integration, including training in tools like Cytoscape for network analysis.
Elena’s participation was supported by a Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds travel grant, which enabled her to gain essential skills directly applicable to her PhD research on the molecular mechanisms of vasculogenesis.
We congratulate Elena on this achievement and thank EMBL for organizing such a high-quality, collaborative learning experience.
